About Alzheimer's Los Angeles

Our mission is to improve the lives of families affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia by increasing awareness, delivering effective programs and services, providing compassionate support, and advocating for quality care and a cure.

Alzheimer’s Los Angeles was founded by concerned community members in 1981.

We are governed by a group of dedicated volunteers who provide their time and expertise to ensure we work toward achieving our mission.

Our staff is dedicated to supporting, educating, and empowering local families as they face the everyday challenges of dementia.
