Whether you can spare only a little bit of time or make a more significant commitment, we hope that you will join us in our very special community. We have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities, including: event volunteer, support group leader, educational speaker, Young Professionals Committee, advocate, and office support. In some cases you may be able to volunteer from the comfort of your own home computer.

Advocate

Alzheimer’s disease and dementia presents significant challenges to those living with the disease, their caregivers, and our entire community.

Event Volunteer

Volunteers needed to assist with event set-up, greeting and registering guests, as well as marketing and promotion in the community.

Support Group Leader

Become a support group leader and help provide much-needed emotional support, coping skills, education and resources to caregivers.

Speakers Bureau

Have a direct impact by delivering educational presentations to community groups, ranging from 20-50 people. Topics include programs and services, the disease and caregiving.

Office Support

Assist in the many administrative tasks needed to keep our office running smoothly, including special projects, mailings, collating, copying and reception.

Young Professionals Committee

Become the future of Alzheimer’s awareness through YPC, whose primary focus is gaining awareness for Alzheimer’s through fun interactive events.
