Alzheimer’s Greater Los Angeles is proud to be the recipient of a grant totaling $100,000 from the S. Mark Taper Foundation. The grant will support ALZGLA’s Helpline, as well as the Caregiver Emergency and Assistance Fund. These programs and others are offered free to individuals living with Alzheimer’s or a related disorder and to their families. Callers to the Helpline can obtain disease education, referrals to supportive services, and connection to our social workers for individualized care planning and counseling. Additionally, a portion of the money will go directly to caregivers with urgent need for respite or other services.
